Software Engineer

Electric Cloud is looking for a talented web application developer to join the ElectricCommander® development team. In this position you will work with experienced engineers on enterprise solutions that promise to change the way that software is developed. The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and have several years of experience developing code for both the client and server side of web applications.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement new UI features for the ElectricCommander web application
Support and extend the ElectricCommander UI SDK

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

Software development experience through university courses or 3-5 years of work experience
AJAX/HTML/CSS experience and an interest in UI design
Object oriented JavaScript and Java skills
Web application development experience including cross browser development
An interest in design and test-driven software development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self driven/directed work style
Interest in learning new things/intellectual curiosity
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Understanding of software development process

Desired Experience:

Coding skills in GWT, PHP, Perl, TCP/IP and network programming are a plus

Minimum Required Education:

BS Computer Science or equivalent industry experience a must
MSCS a plus
