Director, North American Sales
Electric Cloud is looking for a Director of North American Sales to manage a field sales team consisting of sales and systems engineers. Reporting to the VP or Worldwide Sales, the ideal person for this position will have proven success in driving new business, expanding existing business, instituting best practices, and working closely with other Electric Cloud teams to execute on sales and marketing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- A minimum 10 years of the combination of software enterprise selling and managing sales teams
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding quota
- Successful in selling at the C level
- Leadership skills
- Astute at selling value and high end solutions
- Demonstrated success in both geographic and vertical market go to market plans
- Technical acumen; knowledge of PLM or ALM markets a plus
- Has demonstrated good process management and reporting acumen
- Has worked in both a direct sales as well as partner based selling models
- Entrepreneurial
- Strong team player who has demonstrated success in working with other functional areas within a company
Education:
- Bachelors Degree required

- Approx. 50%
