Sales Representative (Major Accounts)
Electric Cloud is looking for a software sales representative to manage major accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience selling enterprise software to large development teams, with at least five years of successfully selling to major enterprise accounts. The primary responsibilities of this position include developing account strategies, improving relationships with existing accounts while targeting new ones, and closing sales on an enterprise level. Knowledge of the software development process, experience working in a start-up, and the ability to develop and execute on strategy will be key to the success of this position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with Electric Cloud’s existing major accounts to make the company’s products standard across the organization.
- Consistently target new accounts.
- Develop account strategies, communicate, and execute to plan.
- Utilize internal team to set-up initial meetings; create demos aligned with customer needs and; successfully pilot Electric Cloud products.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- 10 years of selling enterprise software, with at least 5 of those years in major accounts
- Industry knowledge of software development market
- Understanding of critical business drivers for software development
- Ability to penetrate major accounts, and build long term relationships with key customers
- Experience working with internal teams to target and close accounts
- Strong verbal, presentation, written, and organizational skills
