Regional Sales Manager, Hong Kong

Electric Cloud is looking for a regional sales manager for the Greater China area. The ideal candidate will be able to show success in selling enterprise software to large development teams as well as experience in managing partners and resellers. The primary responsibilities of this position include pursuing new business, improving relationships with existing customers, building and managing partners, and closing sales. The position requires a minimum of five years selling enterprise software products. Knowledge of the software development process, experience working in a start-up, and the ability to execute on strategy will be important to the success of this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Close enterprise-wide software deals, both new customers and established base
  • Develop and execute on account plans
  • Target high-level accounts and utilize team to set-up meetings, create demos, and pilot Electric Cloud products.
  • Cultivate, manage and motivate partners to help extend sales coverage.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5 years of successfully selling software development tools/applications to enterprise companies (2 in outside sales)
  • Industry knowledge of software development market
  • Understanding of critical business drivers for software development
  • Ability to penetrate major accounts, and build long term relationships with key customers
  • Strong verbal, presentation, written, and organizational skills
  • Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese

  • In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles and software development processes preferred

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree required (BS in Computer Science preferred)

Travel:

  • Significant regional travel is expected and required
  • Some travel to the USA should be anticipated
