Territory Development Representative

The Territory Development Representative is responsible for lead generation, qualification and lead management. Equity opportunity is available as well. You will be expected to:

  • Conduct 100+ outbound campaign calling and relationship management activities per day to business prospects in assigned territory.
  • Create customer interest, answer questions and initiate sales process; do lead generation in target accounts.
  • Process any inbound or campaign-based calls; provide lead follow up and referral management.
  • Capture pertinent customer data elements to increase knowledge of the prospect and work with Marketing to maintain the prospect database.
  • Prepare tracking reports: activities focused calling plans, leads generated, etc.
  • Work closely with Field Rep(s) and Manager in coordinating territory activity.

This position requires:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Major of Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science or Math a plus: MBA a double plus).
  • Two to four years of technology inside sales experience (Inside sales of software a plus; inside sales of software development tools such as build, SCM or ALM tools a double plus).
  • Desire for a career path from inside lead generation to inside sales to outside sales a plus.
